Dr Nicky utilises one of the most effective and proven treatment techniques for Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) which is injections of a protein preparation into the problem area, normally in the forehead or underarms. In small doses the protein blocks the nerves that supply the sweat glands, preventing them from working for about 6 months. A proven and effective treatment for underarms, hands, feet and forehead.
Dr Nicky Naylor has an array of injectable treatment options to rejuvenate your hands which can show the signs of ageing in the form of loss of skin tone, wrinkling of the skin, prominent veins, age spots and the hands becoming skeletal. She addresses age spots or rough skin by applying skin peels . Results can last as long as 12-18 months.
Sclerotherapy is an effective treatment for spider or thread veins on the legs. The treatment involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades. After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.
