Lip Augmentation
Lip augmentation is a method of restoring a more youthful lip, correcting an asymmetry or simply improving lip volume using temporary dermal fillers. Dr Nicky uses a Hyaluronic acid dermal filler which is found naturally throughout the body. This procedure improves the size and shape of your lips. Dr Naylor works with the natural shape and look of your lips to add a natural and soft result that enhances rather than changes. Lip augmentation is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips.

Treatment benefits
As you age your lips become thinner and less defined due to your body producing less collagen, fat redistribution, boney mass reabsorption and remodelling.
Lip augmentation can increase the fullness and enhance the definition of your lips to create a more desirable and youthful appearance and defined smile. It can also help turn the corners of the mouth upwards. Dr Naylor's results are refined and natural resulting in restoration of a patient's confidence.

Frequently Asked
How long does Lip Augmentation last?
Lip fillers last about 4-12 months, but results can vary depending on the client. Dr Nicky recommends starting conservatively and building up to the desired effect. A natural result is always the goal with lip augmentation.
How quickly will I see results?
The improvement is seen immediately but with an exaggerated result. Your lips will appear larger for a few days after but quickly settle down over a period of 3-7 days.
Is it painful?
Pain is always subjective to the individual. A topical numbing cream is applied around the area to be treated. At most you will feel a slight, quick scratch and slight pressure. Immediately after treatment you may feel a dull throbbing sensation but this could not be described as painful.
Are there any side effects?
Afterwards, your lips may swell up slightly, but this is the body’s natural response and this should subside after a few days. Your lips may also feel slightly tender for a few days and you may have slight bruising at the injection sites.
